"Used this to run my ham radio station, had no RF interference. Only thing I heard from the unit was when the fan turned on and would run for a only about a minute. If it hadn't been on the floor next to me I probably wouldn't even have heard it. Very quite."
"The unit outperformed my expectations, it runs my large fridge for 6 hours and had 40% remaining power. It also runs two of my appliances rated for 1300 watts, toaster and k cup coffeemaker. It doesn't run my 1500 watt rated toaster oven but I didn't expect it to! It is mostly quiet except for occassionally when the cooling fan runs. It charges quickly as stated from the solar panels or ac, i haven't tested from 12V yet but feel car batteries don't have enough capacity except for a top off charge."
"This little Solar Generator truly is a plug and play.
No Gas to worry about. No trying to crank it up.
When I first received it, it had a 23% charge on it. I plugged it into to a wall outlet and it took about 6 hours to charge it to 99%.
I tried using my coffee maker to drain the battery so I could try out the solar panels. The 900w coffee maker while making coffee did use up alot of the stored electricity. I used it just playing around charging items until it got down to 26%. I attached the two solar panels and it took around 6 hours to charge to 99%.
This one will not charge past 99%. I still LOVE it and it's GREAT to have as a power outage back-up!!!!
If I had the funds, I'd purchase several more of these."
"Our power goes out some times for several hours. My 120v outlets outside are on one side of my house. This is a help for extra power especially on the other side of my house. Great product."
"The item arrived on time and in good condition. The setup was easy. Charged the unit to full capacity and verified it worked. Still at 100% after one month of no use. I did not use the panels to charge the unit. I used the outlet, but the panels connect easily with the supplied cables. This will be very easy to charge and transport to the lake, on trips or when the power is out."
"Powers my full size refrigerator for about 6 hours with 20% battery left. It takes about 20% of the energy to make a pot of coffee on my Mr Coffee coffee maker. The coffee maker draws a lot of electricity, a little over 700 watts. If you want to run a refrigerator during a power outage, I would suggest getting a small 2 to 4 cubic foot refrigerator for essentials."
"So easy to install and to operate even a woman can do it. I bought just in case I an emergency it is worth every penny. My neighbors saw me testing it and started to asked where did I get a from!"

"I connected it to my refrigerator and the refrigerator stopped working, even from the wall socket so I thought my refrigerator was bad so I bought a new refrigerator. I connected it to my new refrigerator and the same thing happened. The technician said that a part was damaged in the refrigerator, I am still without a refrigerator waiting for the new part! I have no idea how it could damage a refrigerator, but it did! Two of them!"
"I spent 1,500 for an emergency generator. It is not strong enough to run my coffee pot or a space heater one at a time. Therefore, it is completely inadequate for my needs. I found out too late that they don't take returns or make refunds. What a waste of good money. You'll like this if you want to turn on one lamp and charge your phone. Get a small, cheep charger for your phone and buy some solar garden lights for light."
"In 5 hours and 46 minutes of charge is good 5 hours of real good sun it gave me 18% . I don’t think I have ever been so disappointed with a purchase I’ve made . I will say the charging inside and everything else is great . (ITS THAT SOLAR THING ) or a great paper wait"
"Does not perform as advertised.
Two panel output is 117w max not 200w as advertised!!!"
"I received this Generark I try making a large cup hot water for my noodle bowl .i turn it on just in 1 min every light automatic off .i try to turn it on again many times but the same automatic off.i try microwave 1 min to make sauce hot ok .i try mini cooler ok too .i do not know if I use microwave to cook longer and mini cooler longer are good or not good.i do not try heat yet .because I don't have the heat to try it.what kind Generark can't use for a large cup to cook hot water .can you? maybe this Generark can't use for the heater too .so I pay for this Generark and 2 solar panel for over1500.00 and tax for to use the lights only ???"
"The item was defective. Would not charge with solar panels (in total full sun for 2 days) beyond 1/3 of power required for full charge. This amount of power only lasted 1.5 hours running a small a/c unit in a small camper. The seller would not even pay 1/2 of the return shipping. It cost me $241.00 to return an item to this "seller" that was defective."
Summary
The general consensus is that the Generark solar generators and solar panels work well and are worth the money.
They generators are very quiet and can be used around the house for emergencies and non-emergencies.
Very easy to understand how to connect and operate everything.
The ratio between positive and negative reviews is very good. The majority are positive.
Some of the reviewers expected to power more things and should have purchased the larger generator.
The solar panels don't seem to be able to charge as good as advertised. Although it could be from the intensity of the sun and is a user error.
