China eliminates some COVID rules for US Travel.
Americans no longer have to take a RT-PCR test 7 days prior the flight.
Passengers flying to China starting on May 20th 2022 from US cities, including Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, will no longer require a RT-PCR test before the flight. According to official announcements from the Chinese Embassy and Consulate, Reuters reported.
Previous pre-flight antibodies testing requirements will also be removed.
Passengers must continue to take two RT-PCR tests within 48 hours or 24 hours before the flight. Depending from the airport which they depart - plus another antigen test, according to the notice.
